Riot, 40x40inch, Enamel on wood
Riots – a situation which is noisy and chaotic. With various colours, I have tried to recreate the noise and the scenario at the scene of the riot. However, with the use of colours, I have depleted the original mood of anger, frustration and unhappiness. Instead, I have chosen colours that would contradict the original mood of a riot and show vibrancy. This is the impact of colours and the mood that they can bring about.

Figure, 40x40inch, Enamel on wood
A woman's body frame is usually associated with the shapes of objects such as bottles or hour glasses. The inspiration for the shape of such objects could have been derived from the silhouette of women. My painting describes how one inspires another as I compare the figure of a woman to the shape of a bottle.
